Every year during the month of January, the French department store Le Bon Marche hosts a huge sale on home goods — the mois du blanc , "white month" in English, in which all marked-down items are in white. A The artist is invited each year to create an exhibition in the store's spaces; in the past, it has brought together names such as Leandro Erlich, Chiharu Shiota and Ai Weiwei. This year, the Japanese studio Nendo was selected to present the exhibition Ame Nochi Hana , or rain flower.
