The 3rd edition of
CASACOR Paraíba will give visitors the opportunity to visit one of the oldest buildings in the center of João Pessoa, the
former Colégio Nossa Senhora das Neves . The exhibition, which took place at the
Tambáu Hotel in 2018 and at the
Cassiano Ribeiro Coutinho Residence in 2016 , is scheduled to take place between August 15th and September 27th. The College, dating from 1858, was founded by Beaurepaire Rohan, president of the Province of Parahyba do Norte. One of the few buildings built in the period that still remains active and functional, the architectural design is grand, created to convey an impression of order and vigilance. From its foundation until 2002, the building functioned as an educational institution, one of the most traditional in the state. In recent years, it was home to a private college.
"Paraíba hosts
CASACOR for the third time and in this edition we look at one of the most important points in the state, the capital's Historic Center", says
Cesar Revorêdo , franchisee of the exhibition. "The building of the former College is located on a historic site, with more than 700 properties, as well as historic streets, squares and parks in an area of 37 hectares. With centuries-old buildings of different styles and periods, consisting of townhouses, squares, colonial houses and churches, is considered the main architectural collection of Paraíba and one of the most important historical sites in Brazil". In 2020,
CASACOR Paraíba will bring together the best professionals in the market, industry, retailers and the entire segment chain, to impact and bring new references to visitors. Stay tuned!
