Today, the Glass House houses the Lina Bo and PM Bardi Institute, an organization that aims to research Brazilian architecture, design and popular art, as well as a museum. However, before that, it was the residence of the couple, Lina and Pietro. Bardi. Now, those who are curious to see the “Casa do Morumbi” (as Lina called it) as a home, will have their chance: the exhibition “A Casa como Casa” opens on April 7th.
On this occasion, furniture, rugs, books, plants and objects that belonged to the couple will once again occupy the rooms of the residence. In addition, the program includes a round table on architecture and design in Italy and Brazil, moderated by Giacomo Pirazzoli i (FAU -Mackenzie and Università di Firenze) and with the participation of Renato Aneli (IAU-USP and ILBPMB), Ana Araujo (Architectural Association London) and Anna Carboncini (ILBPMB), on the opening day.
