Starting on October 12, the Bardi Institute is hosting an unprecedented exhibition on four glass houses designed by great names in international architecture: Mies Van der Rohe, Philip Johnson, Charles and Ray Eames and Lina Bo Bardi . The exhibition will take place in partnership with the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism of USP, the Secretariat of Culture of the State of São Paulo and the company AGC. 
The unprecedented exhibition, held at Lina Bo Bardi 's Glass House in Morumbi, addresses the issue of the intensive use of glass as a material for architecture, with the central axis being the comparison between four emblematic modern projects. The Glass Houses exhibition aims to The aim is to tell the story of the four houses, encouraging reflection on cultural processes, involving the theme of glass, which allows complete transparency of the house's boundaries and its use in different situations. 
Comprising 20 exhibitors, the event will feature archival images of the four projects, studies and comparisons between the architects, their work poetics, methods, references and the intimate lives of each one. In addition to the photographic repertoire, 12 models produced especially for the event will be on display. the exhibition, enabling an in-depth study of the projects and their formal peculiarities. 
The exhibition complements the Bardi Glass House project, supported by the Getty Foundation through the Keeping it Modern program, being developed by a team from the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo, coordinated by Professor Renato Anelli, also curator of this exhibition.
