Architect's Day: remember pieces by the country's most important architects

Every December 15th , National Architect and Urban Planner Day is celebrated, according to the law. The date, which was inserted into Brazil's official calendar, was selected in honor of Oscar Niemeyer's birth, as well as marking the founding of the Architecture Council and Urbanism (CAU), the highest representative body for professionals in the country.

On this important date, remember some of the most important architects and the pieces that transformed the national scene.
