The 60 finalist projects are on display at the Design Museum in London

Design Museum announces 2017 Design Award winners

The Design Museum in London's exhibition, which features 60 projects nominated for the Beazley Awards for best design of the year, is open to the public until February 18. In the tenth edition of the awards, the works are divided into six categories: Architecture, Digital, Fashion, Graphics, Products and Transport. The works include films, virtual reality and audio.

Meet the winners below!

Winner in the overall category and in the Architectural Design category: Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington DC

After decades, the museum was reopened to celebrate the history of African-American culture, its architecture therefore being influenced by both. Winner of the Graphic Design of the Year category: Fractured Lands: The New York Times Magazine This issue of the New York Times Magazine focused on representing the last ten years in the Middle East. Designed by Matt Willey, the aesthetic is stark, dramatic and monochromatic. Product Design of the Year Winner: AIR-INK
