Brilliant new projects are constantly emerging on the architecture scene, making it hard to keep up with the names that are trending. To help you out, we’ve selected some of the most relevant architects of 2019 for you to keep an eye on and follow their most innovative and creative creations.
IKSOI is a small studio based in Ahmedabad, India. Passionate about eye-catching expressionist design, the group burst onto the architectural scene late last year with a project to build an entire yellow factory in their hometown. Despite approaching 5,000 followers, the group has barely posted more than 50 posts on social media.
Iranian
Farshad Mehdizadeh set up his own firm seven years ago, in 2012. Winner of the Architect of the Year award at the 10th Annual Middle East Architecture Awards in 2017, he is known for developing sinuous projects with bold curves and irreverent design. Currently teaching in Melbourne, Australia, his research focuses on architecture focused on geographical contexts.

ANTIREALITY aims to create surreal and eccentric projects that are strange at first glance, like this triangular beach house with a swimming pool as a roof. The few posts and high number of likes reveal the popularity of their projects, most of which consist of panoramic views and high contrast of colors, all in a fantasy atmosphere.

h2o architects office is known for developing interventions in existing buildings. In addition to analyzing the structural feasibility of the reconstruction, the French architects also research the symbolic and emotional impact that the building may have on the local community before starting the project. The visual identity is usually clear, which makes the space a bright spot among historic buildings.
