The Summer Pavilion is a wooden structure suspended on metal pillars and was created to host lectures, shows and exhibitions.

The Glass House , the residence of modernist architect Lina Bo Bardi and now the headquarters of the Bardi Institute, has gained a new annex! In the center of the green area, at the foot of the main building, the Summer Pavilion was designed by architect Sol Camacho to host cultural events such as concerts, exhibitions and lectures. All proceeds raised during these activities will be used to support the Institute 's maintenance and cultural programming . 
As this is a listed heritage site, the construction technique chosen was a wooden structure and metal pillars. This means that nothing in the House needed to be altered or damaged to accommodate the Pavilion. The fixed furniture places visitors at the edge of the trees, in full contact with nature. The goal is to offer a different, ephemeral, light architecture that can be a platform (literally) for new ideas, songs and works.
