Brazilians nominated for the 2018 Building of the Year Award

Three Brazilian offices have been nominated for ArchDaily's annual awards, with two of them moving on to the final round. Check out the projects!

The Building of the Year , promoted by the website ArchDaily , is now in its 9th edition and has three Brazilian buildings competing in the voting. The award has 15 categories and two stages: in the first, the public chooses five projects from among 300 that go on to the second stage, which will choose the best building. Voting will take place until February 7th and the winner will be announced on the 8th of the same month. Categories include best use of products, commercial, cultural, educational, hospital, hotel, industrial, interior, office, public, religious, small-scale, sports, homes and housing architecture.

The Fortaleza Photography Museum project, by Marcus Novais Arquitetura , competed with 300 projects in the Cultural Architecture category, but unfortunately did not progress to the final stage.
