The São Paulo Biennial Foundation has defined the curatorship responsible for the exhibition of the 17th International Architecture Exhibition , one of the main events of the Venice Biennale, which is scheduled to open on May 23.

For José Olympio da Veiga Pereira, president of the São Paulo Biennial, Brazilian participation in foreign art biennials "is a way of sharing, with other countries, the strength of contemporary Brazilian artistic and architectural production". The works will draw parallels with the theme of this year's Venice Biennale: " How will we live together ?" The theme invites us to imagine spaces where people can, in fact, live together. — which, in the current context of political polarization and growing economic inequality, seems more distant.
