CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul . Architect Daniel Wilges, who designed the project, chose the calmest of colors as his starting point. And it restored the intellectual and sensory appeal of blue to tantalize the eyes. Color emerges in all environments and guides perception. It spreads across the carpet, washes the velvety textured walls and stains the sofa, which is the largest piece in these 50 m². A sign that the vocation for relaxing and entertaining is present at Studio Slim.

Instead of a large conventional dining table and coffee table, the architect opted for the practicality of several side tables, including two glass examples. Thus, the space gains a multifunctional character, offering mobility and dynamism to adapt to different everyday situations. Studio Slim got its name because it is inspired by thin, linear shapes. “It represents the constant challenge when designing increasingly smaller spaces”, comments Daniel. A good example of this formal conciseness comes on the bookshelf, with delicate divisions that explore the duality of blue and red. Color is a powerful choice, present in details that gain importance.

The living room flows towards the kitchen. The natural wood flooring is the same, which guarantees visual continuity between the environments. The joinery is lean and practical, with white on top for balance. Note that the table also serves this environment, for quick meals.
The room is just behind the iron screens with colored frosted glass, signed by Daniel Wilges. The corner located at the entrance to Studio Slim is also aimed at relaxation, concentrating the plants and cushions on the floor.

Just like the frosted glass, which evokes the architecture of old houses, the Opa bed also revives affectionate memories. With a retro style, it was made of galvanized iron with a faded cotton canvas covering. The structure is finished off with a straw headboard.
