There are only a few days left until CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2019 opens its doors to the public, from July 23 to September 8. For those who can't control their curiosity, we'll show you a little spoiler of the show, in some details of the Sala do Luis environment. . In it, architect Izabela Pagani pays homage to Luis Fernando Verissimo, creating a space for reading, creating and appreciating music.

(Nomma)

“The main bookcase was based on the lyrics of the song Samba de Verão, one of the most played songs by the writer from Rio Grande do Sul and the quintet Jazz Seis”, says the architect. It is no coincidence that pau-ferro wood is present in the execution of the space - material is one of the most used in the production of musical instruments.

(Nomma)

The professional started from the assumption that interior architecture is not just about furniture. So, she delved into the history of the writer from Rio Grande do Sul and incorporated objects from his personal collection. The result is a private universe of memories and exchange of affection. All in dialogue with the news in architecture and design.

“The family universe prevails in the environment created for the exhibition. Being able to visit his home up close was fundamental to the result of this work. The house, which also belonged to his father, Érico Veríssimo, is an art gallery that portrays the affection of family and friends”, says Izabela.
