Architecture, design and experience go hand in hand in the proposal that the São Paulo-based studio Suíte signs for Portinari at the São Paulo edition of CASACOR 2026. Throughout the 215 sqm of Casa Magma, visitors can discover the brand's latest launches, which has art in its DNA when creating ceramic coverings used in a very creative and unconventional way. The authors — Suíte consolidates the partnership of Carolina Mauro, Daniela Frugiuele, Luiza Monari and Filipe Troncon — designed an architectural experience that bets on a language marked by curves, textures and earthy tones, a beautiful synthesis of what we perceive as a welcoming feeling. "The space arises from this desire to create a contemporary shelter, almost like a cocoon. We wanted people to feel the projects before even understanding them rationally. Casa MAGMA speaks about welcoming and about that silent power that exists in matter, light and textures", comments SUITE Arquitetos.
Even before entering the space, still in the entrance hall, the visitor is faced with a denser and more introspective atmosphere. A few steps ahead is the large curved wall that organizes the social area of the project, covered with Vestígios Decor Mix, by Portinari. Produced in architectural concrete, the covering precisely follows the architectural design, favoring applications on curved surfaces and organic volumes. The porcelain tile from the Argilas SRD collection, by Portinari, fills the floor of the central core and reflects tones observed in different landscapes of the Brazilian coast, forest and cerrado, contributing to the construction of the project's chromatic identity.

In this living core there are the living room, dining room and tea bar, which appear in a fluid composition where sculptural volumes, lowered ceilings and floors bring architecture and sensoriality closer together. At the center of the composition, the fireplace covered with sintered stone slabs Portinari Petra Fóssil contributes to the intimate atmosphere of the projects. In addition to favoring the material continuity of the space, the choice highlights the heat resistance characteristic of sintered stone.

The path is marked by sculptural volumes and by the beauty and resistance of mineral surfaces. Kitchen, dining room and tea bar connect in a continuous composition marked by the material of the countertops, where Portinari Petra Traços reinforces the visual continuity proposed for the projects. It is also worth highlighting the sculptural pendant above the kitchen island: there, the Hydria piece, developed by SUITE Arquitetos itself, is reinterpreted for Casa MAGMA with natural crystals and tubes executed in Portinari Petra Traços.

In the intimate section, the master suite reveals a quieter and more protected atmosphere, described by the architects as a "contemporary den". Subtly lowered porticos, light fabrics and natural materials guide the experience of seclusion. On the headboard, the porcelain tile Argilas Decor SBE adds texture to the composition through irregular traces that expand the tactile reading of the projects.
"CASACOR São Paulo is an important territory for us to translate the way Portinari understands contemporary living. The project presents an architecture that values sensoriality, welcoming and material depth, while highlighting new possibilities for applying Petra sintered stones in signature projects", says Marina Crocomo, CMO of Dexco. With Casa Magma, Portinari reinforces its view for projects that bring architecture, design and experience closer together, translating contemporary living through surfaces that invite one to slow down and stay. Those interested can get to know the projects by visiting CASACOR São Paulo 2026, which takes place until August 9 at Parque da Água Branca, in the São Paulo capital.
