CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2019 is reaching its final stretch, connecting memories of historical heritage to the future of major projects. On one side, the new multifunctional space Cidade Milano; on the other, the restored mansion where former governor Hercílio Luz (1860-1924) lived, a listed building. The 40 projects, developed by 70 professionals, are distributed across these two locations and complement each other, in a bridge that connects the future and the memories of the capital. Two forces that manifest themselves in various ways in the exhibition spaces. Until October 27th, next Saturday, you can visit the exhibition and also explore the gastronomic options, watch the talks and enjoy the spaces that won the award for best environments. We selected some projects that stood out in the exhibition. Check them out!
01/07 -
White Living Room - Salvio Moraes Jr and Moacir Schmitt Jr. A large living room, a large social area designed for those who enjoy the comfort of home, whether in a more intimate or more spacious way, receiving friends for a happy hour. The mood of the space is clear, a breath of fresh air for the eyes. The main color of the room is white, which predominates and affirms the concept of the space that houses a kitchen, dining room, living room, bar and toilet in 100 m².

02/07 -
Green Hug at Casarão Hercílio Luz - Benedito Abbud. The architect from São Paulo imagined a garden that would enhance the value of the property, without hiding the historic mansion that houses part of the event. This intention explains the preference for more linear, horizontal landscaping and with small species. A simplicity that only enhances the striking design of the house. The lighting highlights the different levels and directs the eye to contemplate the combination of vegetation and architecture.

03/07 -
Cloud Nine - Gabriel Bordin. Being in the clouds, where time flies by. A feeling that comes from light and ethereal colors and elements, starting with the large panel created from pocket springs. Low, indirect lighting, furniture with fluid lines and surfaces that exude comfort bring a more than welcome coziness. The concrete was revealed on the slab, in an interesting contrast that enhances the composition.

04/07 -
Loft Near the sea - Juliana Pippi. The sea has always been around, in your eyeline, in the cool breeze that hugs your skin. The architect materializes the scenery that has surrounded her throughout her life, in raw tones and textures reminiscent of sand. Concrete, stone, granite, natural fibers and light woods meet and complement each other, in a peaceful look. White is brushed here and there, creating other breaths in this light environment with practically no walls.

05/07 -
Fruit shop - Guilherme Garcia. The grocery store, in addition to healthy foods, is also a place to enjoy exclusive drinks. All products are displayed around its perimeter, using a central island, side tables and a shelf that takes advantage of the column, to vary the compositions and products on display. The countertops use Agbo quartz, a compound produced from waste from the technology industry.
