Anna Maya finds in the baroque style of the Italian painter
Caravaggio the references that make up her project for
CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis in 2019. The 50 m² space was named
Living Rosé – a tone that predominates and warms the composition. A mix of rustic and classic materials, such as the concrete brick walls and the large wooden bookshelf in the background, make the architecture more interesting. A focus on symmetry in the furniture gives it a balanced and cozy character, reinforced by the movement of indirect lighting.
With a contemporary style, the project features rugs and a fireplace to warm up, as well as to stimulate the desire to stay there. The lightness of the light colors gains a new proposal with the pink of the panels, which highlight the circular shapes – the architect's trademark. The goal was to create a relaxed and welcoming living room, which was enriched with lots of art.
The living room also has a dining area, where three pendants project volume and shapes over the table. This table, in off-white lacquer with a glass top, contrasts with the green of the vertical garden in the background. On the sides, two works by the artist
Marize Koerich inspired by Caravaggio's still life.
