The big winner of the 2019 Planeta Casa Award, the Loft Pra Perto do Mar by Juliana Pippi for CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis was awarded in three categories: Planeta Casa Award - Best Adaptation to the Affectionate Theme, Original Residential Environment Award and Featured Environment chosen by the participating offices in the cast. The project materializes the coastal scenery in raw tones and textures that refer to sand. Concrete, stone, terrazzo, natural fibers and light woods meet and complement each other, in a tranquil look.

The Paraíso Library, designed by Érico Monteiro, won the Best Environment category in the awards ceremony that selected the main projects of CASACOR Ceará 2019. The deconstructed project focused on sustainability starts with a rural atmosphere to transport visitors to a stable, a barn, with key elements. With minimal interventions, the environment is a tribute to the businessman José Macêdo.

In the category of Environment that Best Valued Craftsmanship in Ceará, Meu Lugar no Mundo, by Carlos Otávio Arquitetura, took first place. The project was also chosen in the category of Environment that Best Valued the Artist. The loft, inspired by a cosmopolitan couple, symbolizes the warmth and affection of the home, uniting the needs of contemporary man with natural elements, associating modernity with regionalism.

In the Environment that Best Enhanced Landscaping category, Thiago Borges' Tropical Oasis for the Ceará exhibition came in first place. Contact with nature is the key point of the environment, which has as its central element the natural pool. Developed using a special filtration system, which generates 100% clear water without chemical additives, the attraction functions like a lake.

The 3rd edition of the CASACOR Brasília/Correio Braziliense Awards chose Leo Romano's Galeria Só Reparos as the Most Bold Project of the year. The 300 m² space was built over the old swimming pool. Among bricks and white elements, the free layout is accentuated by light colors, a few pieces of furniture and objects that contrast with the natural elements of the place.

At the same awards ceremony, the technical jury awarded the Most Original Project to the Lounge Bar by Ângela Castilho and Alex Rodrigues. The 220 m² living space was inspired by the dry climate of the Cerrado, creating an intimate environment with wooden trunks, rustic textures, warm tones, bamboo, sand, clay, stones and linen and cotton fabrics.

The Arauco Restaurant designed by Studio Pippa won the Special Technical Jury Prize, as well as taking second place for Best Project. The starting point was the original elements of the building designed by Oscar Niemeyer and the mood of the 1970s. The space opens onto the garden and has the appearance of a balcony, with openwork wooden panels allowing for natural light.

In Rio Grande do Norte, Varanda das Dunas by Renata Matos was the big winner of the award that elected the best environments of the show. At the time, the project won the categories of Greatest Use of Technology and Outstanding Project by the Press Jury. The project, which is more than a balcony and combines a dining room, home theater and kitchen, brings technology to automation, with gas burners directly on the countertop, induction chargers for smartphones and linear air conditioning on the ceiling.

The award also voted the Teto Afeto space by Marília Bezerra as the winner of the Featured Project category, chosen by the public jury. The living room reclaims its essence as a welcoming setting, increasingly adapted to different uses and occasions. It includes a bar, home theater, reading area and conversation space.

On the same night, Aurora Blue, by Allan Chierighini and Graziella Oliveira, won an award in the category of Best Adaptation to the Technology Theme. Inspired by the brightness of the night sky, the space combines symbolism, energy and technology in an interactive proposal. The large surfaces were accentuated with striking materials and combinations.

In Balneário Camboriú, the Planeta Casa Award chose Fábio Borges' Loft as the winner in the Best Adaptation to the Sustainability Theme category. On the lakeside property, the shelter with large openings to the outside transforms the reused container. The proposal is a permanent connection between housing and the planet.

One of CASACOR São Paulo's most awarded and internationally recognized projects, the Cosentino Container House by Marilia Pellegrini has participated in awards such as the International Property Awards, in addition to being considered one of the 50 best houses in the world by Archdaily. Its design, with sustainable bases and a focus on reusing materials, uses two containers to create a 60m² house.

The Casa Award, which selects the best projects by CASACOR São Paulo, voted the bedroom at Casa do Fauno as the Best Bedroom of the São Paulo edition. The 144 m² project was designed by Leo Shehtman. The highlight is the exotic Pearlescent Marble, which covers one wall and appears to float along the 18 m of water mirror.

Cucina Pietra marked the professional's debut at CASACOR, marked by minimalism, combined with technology and precision of the furniture present in the space. The award also honored Casa Dendê Duratex, by Nildo José, as the Best Room of the 2019 edition of the São Paulo show. The space also received an award during the 24th Deca Awards, which celebrated the best kitchen projects in 2019. The space includes a living room, kitchen with dining room, patio and master suite, and conveys an elegant and at the same time rustic essence, abundant in straight lines, with specific curves that analogize the Bahian Recôncavo.

Another space that won the Deca Award was the TriSuave Lavatory, by Marília Zimmermann for CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2019. Taking home the award in the Bathrooms category, Regional Stage, the project was inspired by the original architecture of the building that hosted the exhibition, the former Santo Antônio Children's Hospital. The favorite colors of the year appear as protagonists in the space.

Even with hundreds of incredible projects, CASACOR faced the difficult challenge of choosing the best environments in different awards held during the past year. One of them, the Prêmio Casa , has been held since 2017 in partnership with Estadão with the aim of identifying the best environments of the São Paulo show. In 2019, the more than 75 environments were voted in 6 categories . In the shows in Florianópolis and Balneário Camboriú , the Prêmio Planeta Casa voted for the environments that best suited the theme of the shows last year, Planeta Casa .
