It is in this context of beauty and history that the Palacete de Sousa in Barranco emerges, a neoclassical gem built in 1917 and which was completely restored to house the 39 spaces of the exhibition, which opened its doors on September 23. The interesting dialogue between the old style and the latest trends in architecture, decoration and landscaping encourages a stroll through the spaces, which include a library, lobby, reception, suites, game room, gourmet terrace and many other spaces. Two of them, in fact, bear the signature of illustrious guests: the Bar Club is a project by designer Tom Dixon with Cecilia Aravec Aniya Clarke, while the País Loft came from the drawing board of Brazilian architect David Bastos. These and the other projects invest in careful lighting, incorporate intimate resources and materials in tune with sustainability, in addition to preserving some original features of the palace.
