Welcoming guests is an idea that goes beyond simply accommodating people – at CASACOR SC | Florianópolis 2026, living rooms and social spaces explore different ways of creating projects where being together also means slowing down, conversing and lingering.
Generous sofas, enveloping armchairs, carefully distributed lighting, woods, natural stones and fabrics of varying textures appear in the show's projects. Instead of thinking of architecture merely as a backdrop, the projects reveal an idea of sophistication less tied to excess and more to the quality of time spent there.

CASACOR SC | Florianópolis 2026 runs until November 8, on SC-401. Below, discover eight projects that explore this relationship between architecture and togetherness:
Beatriz Tambosi, Maria Eduarda Werlich e Thayse Sgrott - Bilheteria e Lounge Prelúdio. Projeto da CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2026. (Lio Simas/CASACOR)
The first encounter with the show happens even before stepping inside. In the project signed by Beatriz Tambosi, Maria Eduarda Werlich and Thayse Sgrott, the ticket office takes on the atmosphere of a lounge and turns arrival into part of the experience.

The concept stems from the name itself: a prelude is what precedes what is to come. A natural stone panel draws the eye, while intense tones and intimate lighting help build a contemporary atmosphere. Natural stones, striking woods and textured fabrics complete the space, designed to make the moment before the crossing also a moment of lingering.

Also signed by Beatriz Tambosi and Maria Eduarda Werlich, the Sala de Imprensa Entremeios proposes a pause amid the accelerated pace of information.

Natural wood, fabrics with soft weaves and neutral tones form a discreet composition, in which materiality does not seek to impose itself. The idea is to create a space for meeting and exchange, inspired precisely by what happens between two parties, in the interval and in what is not always immediately revealed.
Arantxa Severo Arquitetura - Living Manifesto. Projeto da CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2026. (Lio Simas/CASACOR)
In Living Manifesto, architecture starts from a question about identity: what do we reveal when we are aligned with who we truly are?

The answer appears in a house conceived from the inside out. The project works the relationship between matter, memory and sensation to transform architecture into the expression of a particular identity. The idea of turning inward and recognizing what one desires guides a project in which mind and heart meet in the very experience of inhabiting.
Natália Xavier - O Bordado Modernista. Projeto da CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2026. (Lio Simas/CASACOR)
In Natália Xavier's project, modernism and craftsmanship appear side by side. The project draws on this encounter to work matter, texture, light, aroma and memory into a composition that seeks to engage the senses.

Chinaware, wine room, living and dining areas connect in a single narrative, organized by strategic and relaxing lighting. The identity of the house arises precisely from this combination of structure and elements capable of bringing personal marks to the space — an architecture in which handcrafted work appears as part of the atmosphere.
Leonardo Simões Arquitetura - Living Raízes da Serra. Projeto da CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2026. (Lio Simas/CASACOR)
The Serra Catarinense serves as the starting point for Living Raízes da Serra, by Leonardo Simões Arquitetura. Stone, wood and natural elements help build a project marked by the idea of belonging and by the relationship with the original landscape.

The pine nut appears as a symbol of this connection to the Serra, subtly reinterpreted in the setting. Between precise lines and materials with strong presence, the project creates a retreat that combines memory and contemporaneity and invites a more leisurely experience of the home.
Michael Zanghelini - Living Habitat Ocre. Projeto da CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2026. (Lio Simas/CASACOR)
One of the oldest pigments used by humankind sets the tone of Living Habitat Ocre, by Michael Zanghelini. Starting from ochre, the project brings together matter, art, spirituality and faith in a reflection on origin and on the very act of inhabiting.

Earth, stone, wood, water, fire and art appear in an immersive and scenographic living room, partially wrapped in shadow. The result brings ancestry and contemporaneity together in a sensory architecture, connected to nature, to memory and to the meanings assigned to the spaces we occupy.
Samira Mussi Arquitetura - Casa Acervo. Projeto da CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2026 (Lio Simas/CASACOR)
Casa Acervo starts from a simple idea: what we bring into our home is also the result of what we have lived. Stories, art, encounters, places and paths become part of a repertoire that is transformed into space.
Samira Mussi Arquitetura - Casa Acervo. Projeto da CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2026 (Lio Simas/CASACOR)
In the project by Samira Mussi Arquitetura, the boundaries between living and other ways of being dissolve. The automobile presented by Top Car, for instance, enters the composition as a design object and an extension of dwelling. Between matter, memory, movement and welcome, the house proposes another reading of a collection: less related to what one owns and more to the set of experiences one carries.
Revisite Arquitetura e Interiores - Casa da Arquiteta. Projeto da CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2026. (Lio Simas/CASACOR)
In the Casa da Arquiteta, memory, affection and identity guide the composition. Inspired by the theme Mind and Heart, the project bets on organic shapes, natural materials, colors and everyday elements to build a projects with a more intimate character.

Living room, dining room and office are integrated, while photographs, books, works of art, music and personal objects reveal stories, hobbies and references. The proposal stems from the idea that the most striking spaces are those that carry signs of the lives of those who inhabit them.
