Architecture and interior design are also ways to preserve memory and express the identity of a place. At CASACOR Ceará 2026, this relationship appears in projects that incorporate references to the state's history, craftsmanship, sertão traditions, Fortaleza's urban landscape, and regional artistic production. In different proposals, professionals turn to materials, objects, narratives, and techniques that bring contemporary creation closer to the knowledge and experiences that make up the local culture.
In the 28th edition of the show, which has as its theme Mind and Heart, 13 projects stand out for addressing, from different perspectives, memory, cultural identity, and the appreciation of regional roots. The proposals include tributes to artists, references to the trajectory of Ceará institutions, appreciation of artisanal production, and interpretations of the history and customs of the Northeast.
In the Ateliê Guiomar Marinho, Tìcci Sánford pays tribute to the Ceará artist through original tapestries, plant fibers, and elements that preserve the marks of time. The composition establishes a relationship between art, matter, and memory, valuing the trajectory of the honoree and the permanence of her production in the cultural imagination.
