Gabriel Bordin was still collecting praise from his last participation in
CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis , when he agreed to take on the
Pargus project. This time he brought a Greek restaurant project, the first to be established on the island of Florianópolis, made from materials reused and at reduced costs.

The slatted wall that surrounded Casa Ônix has been given a new look for the restaurant. It takes the form of most of the restaurant's sofas, in simple shapes. The new pieces have been complemented by cushions, which make customers feel at ease during their meals. Other pieces were created especially for the project, such as the tables in brushed Paraná marble and the lamps shaped like straw baskets turned upside down. Also made of straw, chairs reinforce a rustic, beach-like tone, as Gabriel explains. “Our intention has always been to was to enhance the view and also not fall into the same symbolisms of Greek restaurants. Even because, even with the Greek sea, the landscape brings with it an aridity”.
