Marko Brajovic signs project for the Creative Laboratories of the Amazon

The Amazon 4.0 project emerged as a third way to explore the forest: the idea is to responsibly use natural resources, combating deforestation and valuing local culture and labor. Led by climatologist Carlos Nobre from the Institute of Advanced Studies of USP, and by biologist Ismael Nobre, the project has just gained another important reinforcement: Atelier Marko Brajovic will be responsible for the architectural project of the Creative Laboratories of the Amazon (LCA) . LCAs are units equipped with state-of-the-art equipment that can be installed in the heart of the forest. Their goal is to create solutions and aggregated products for what is extracted from the forest, combining traditional local knowledge with scientific data.

At this first stage, the objective is to train rural communities that live off the extraction of cocoa and cupuaçu.
