Bellotto presents the design of a mobile garden, which adapts to different environments due to its ease of disassembly and transportation. Sensory experience
In addition to these spatial solutions, the public has the chance to see different types of species, in a sensory experience. The pots allow the Garden to easily accommodate new specimens throughout the exhibition. There is a variety of teas, medicinal plants, fruit trees, vegetables, aromatic herbs, spices and even aphrodisiac species and pancs (unconventional food plants). Among the plants highlighted is the moringa oleifera, a tree native to northwest India. It has more than 90 nutrients and has been used for thousands of years to combat hunger in less privileged societies. “I thought of this idea of bringing these plants because they already have been used for over 5,000 years. We often don’t know their origins and their importance in cooking and our health,” says the professional.
