Several phenomena will “decorate” the sky on Friday night (20). The Sun will cross directly over the Equator, making night and day the same length, 12 hours. A super moon and a rare eclipse Total solar eclipses are also expected to happen today. Unfortunately, only residents of the northernmost regions of the northern hemisphere, such as Greenland, will be able to see the total solar eclipse. The phenomenon occurs once every three centuries for each geographic coordinate.
The super moon, a phenomenon that occurs when the moon reaches its closest point to Earth, can be seen from Brazilian soil. However, the phenomenon will be most evident on August 29, when there is a full super moon.
