Milan Design Week is fast approaching and it’s time to start planning before hotels fill up and trade fair tickets sell out. The main event, Salone del Mobile , takes place from 17 to 22 April. 2018. From Monday to Friday, the Fair is open only to industry professionals, while on Saturday and Sunday, visits are open to the public. Check out everything you can't miss this year. Mobile Showroom The International Furniture Fair will welcome around 2,000 exhibitors (30% foreign) spread across an exhibition area of 200,000 m². The fair will showcase new products and furniture designs with high added value and will be held simultaneously with the International Furniture Accessories Exhibition. Furniture, with its excellent objects, textiles and decorative elements. As usual, the pavilions will be divided into stylistic genres: "Classic: Tradition in the Future" for the period style, "Design" for the contemporary style and "xLux" dedicated the extra luxury furniture. 
Salone Satellite The 20th edition of Salão Satélite , an event dedicated to professionals under 35 and their creative proposals, will be held in a separate hall, near pavilions 15 and 13, with a dedicated entrance in the Cargo sector. The event is usually the meeting point departure of several young designers who end up designing products for big brands. Eurocucina
