Guto Requena is inaugurating another of his innovative projects. The Year nightclub in São Paulo is the architect's latest creation, which transformed an industrial space into a dance club , with the warehouse reimagined as an interactive light installation.
The Year has two dance floors. The indoor one is an interactive cage with LEDs that can be controlled by various sensors, and the lighting changes according to the dance steps. The lights also react to the temperature and movements of the guests.
The outdoor dance floor is ideal for sunset parties : it has a bar with a retractable roof, an open-air patio, with green areas and gardens.
