Well-designed pieces are essential to create a space with harmonious and sophisticated décor, regardless of the style. Over the years, CASACOR has presented the best tables, chairs, lamps and other objects designed by Brazilian and international professionals, which are like functional works of art.

The Marquesa bench by Oscar Niemeyer and Anna Maria Niemeyer symbolizes and summarizes the concept of the "Being Modern" exhibition. The collection presents the Mineiro Baroque and brings it closer to the Modernist moment, in 48 pieces from the Pampulha Art Museum. Oscar Niemeyer's architecture was maintained and houses the scenic structure made of transparent panels, silver on the outside and gold on the inside. The Reading Room with Scandinavian influences gains a Brazilian touch with design pieces with a Brazilian soul: on the right, the suspended chest of drawers by Alva Design, on the left, the Dora Alta armchair by Jader Almeida. The large bookcase designed by Jader Almeida embraces the warehouse transformed into a library. Other pieces by great designers bring comfort, function and sophistication to the space, such as the Voltaire Armchair by Sérgio Rodrigues (right). The armchair and high stool (right) by Oscar Niemeyer are the highlights of the living room, which had a library feel. The pieces formed the perfect set for anyone who wanted to read a book or enjoy the view of the winter garden, a natural extension of the space, which transforms into a glass box that advances into the landscape. The Joaquim Egídio sofa and the K table, designed by Otto Felix, set up the box office living room alongside pieces from Saccaro, Dpot and other brands. In the first floor hall, the designer exhibits for the first time the Studio's reissue of pieces from the Z Line, which José Zanine Caldas created between 1949 and 1955. Since then, the furniture has been out of production. The two Kid armchairs in solid wood and upholstered in wine velvet celebrate the relaunch of the line. CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2016. Migotto chose exclusive pieces by Salvador Dali to celebrate 30 years of exhibition and career. The Leda armchair, which was taken from the painting "Femme á la téte rose" (1935), is made of cast, welded and polished brass. The name of the play is inspired by the Greek mythology Leda and the Swan, which tells the story of the queen of Sparta, seduced by Zeus in the body of a swan (left). Outside the image, the Bracelli lamp has a zigzag pedestal supported by a fork and covered in gold leaf. The pieces were designed by Salvador Dalí and Jean Michel Frank in the first half of the 20th century, but were only created in 1990 by BD Barcelona Design. CASACOR São Paulo 2016. The Viki benches, by Maurício Lamosa and Flávio Borsato, and the Gaia chair - designed by Sergio Rodrigues and executed by his cousin, designer Fernando Mendes, have made the layout of the Glass House, which has fixed furniture and a bench designed by the professionals, more relaxed. The space is a refuge in the middle of the garden, has modern lines and is fully integrated with the landscaping by Burle Marx. CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2016. The light wood of the Favela armchair, designed by the Campana brothers, contrasts with the straight lines and modern surfaces. In harmony with the neutral tones, the space received various types of materials, such as noble stones on the walls, light wood on the furniture and floor, mirrors and acrylic in accessories. The delicately designed furniture from the Bailarina line was designed by the professional. With its extremely thin legs, the table seems to barely touch the floor.
