If art imitates life, according to Aristotle's maxim, for architect
Pedro Lázaro art is the form and function of life itself. It was during the year of seclusion in his apartment in Belo Horizonte that Pedro
went beyond the creative boundaries of architecture , in best of the modernist tradition. In addition to writing, researching and studying, the professional dedicated himself to drawing and watercolor painting and through this flow of free and loose ideas he arrived at several compositions.
The result of this more introspective creative process without an immediate destination came at the beginning of the year with the invitation to transform them into a
collection of rugs produced by Punto e Filo . There are more than
120 pieces launched in São Paulo that are now traveling to Belo Horizonte. and other Brazilian capitals.
Pedro Lázaro is one of those incredible Brazilian architects who are able to
masterfully transition between the most varied forms of expression . The architect, besides being a designer, set designer, curator, and collector, is above all an
observer of the universe around him . It is from this prosaic observation that he has achieved impossibility of leaving the house that Pedro found ideas in the form of the orchid in the garden or in the design of the false vine that grows along the wall.
The collection is divided into four modules:
Botanical, Foliage, Arqmex and Econyl . This last module was entirely produced with raw material from the
recycling of Nylon from fishermen's nets , which are often discarded in the oceans and landfills and gain new life through of the recycling process of the Italian company Aquafil.
In production for the market since the beginning of the year, the more than 120 pieces make up an authorial collection created with delicacy and versatility to compose environments of diverse shapes based on rare compositions that offer
possibilities of colors, shapes and sizes . For Pedro Lázaro, the rugs They demarcate environments, organize the atmosphere and
enhance feelings of affection and comfort .
