A custom lighting scheme by Aqua Creations has completely redesigned the public spaces of a hostel in Jerusalem, Israel. The lobby, hallways, bar and guest elevator have all been transformed with a colorful effect, the result of so-called Responsive RGB LED Technology. The rooms have also been fitted with smart lamps that, connected to the Internet of Things (IoT), allow alerts and tips to be sent to guests. The architect responsible for the Stay Inn Hostel project, Marco Sbarra, worked together with the brand to make the hostel more modern, youthful and technological. To do this, they installed a 35-meter-long metal light fixture containing 13 triangular shapes, each with a over 4 thousand LED lights in RGB colors.

The entire system is operated via WiFi, a smart and easily controlled system. The stage lights, however, only appear at night. Throughout the day, the lighting system is programmed to maintain naturalness and reduce energy consumption. . Responsive RGB LED Technology allows you to control the entire light spectrum, controlling its intensity from 0.1 to 100%, as well as allowing the projection of images and videos.

In the rooms, the technology is inserted next to the bed. In addition to its traditional function, the lamp here is equipped with personalized welcome messages, works as a cell phone charger and allows the hotel to send various messages to guests. 120 lamps were installed room lights in total, counting shared and private rooms.
