At the awards, which are like an "Oscar" for designers, these experts came out on top. In this edition of the IF Design Award, an international and independent group, made up of 98 design experts , judged almost 10 thousand entries, from 3,693 participants, from 52 countries. In the Products category, Casas also stood out with a functional design piece: the high spout table mixer for washbasin , made for Deca . Full of style, the work is still super engaged with the current pandemic and new contact habits.
Jader Almeida , in turn, was awarded in the Products category with his elegant Etta Chair . Very focused on creating furniture that valued comfort and sophistication, the professional used sole leather as a counterpoint to noble materials such as cast metal and solid wood.

Lastly - and certainly not least - Lia Siqueira enchanted everyone and won the best in the Disciplinary Product category with her modern Horizonte Sideboard . The powerful piece stands out for its different repetitions that focus on the same block. Subtle cuts in the wood also guarantee a more fluid opening of the furniture, in a very intuitive way.

In total, 18 Brazilians brought their beautiful works and stood out among the 10,000 projects displayed at the exhibition. Among them, it is worth highlighting Adega Cacho , designed by Dimitri Lociks Cavalcanti de Gusmão and Simone Turíbio Brígido , which won one of the most important categories of the event: iF Gold Award.
