Sustainable soap dispensers imitate milk cartons

Modern design, minimalism and lots of creativity: these were the aspects considered by the Nendo studio in Japan to create soap dispensers in the shape of milk cartons . Named Carton + Pump , they were created using recycled plastic, and the aim of the project is to reduce the amount of plastic waste that ends up in landfills around the world. Nendo is planning to launch the dispensers by 2022. The milk cartons can be turned upside down and include a lid so that it stands upright. With a straw, the sharp end can pierce the bottom. This means that when the box is placed upside down, the soap collects in the center of the gable and is quickly captured by its dispensing pump, i.e. much more practical than a standard flat-bottomed model.
