Milan , has come to life with the Fuori Saloni exhibitions. The Triennale is holding the New Craft Exhibition there (until September 12) in the main building. And during Design Week, all the spaces were occupied. by different companies and institutions. I went there to meet Brazilian Adriana Lohmann, who has lived in Italy for 26 years. She was the curator of the Visione Oniriche exhibition. Creatives from the Milano Makers Association - including Adriana herself - showed furniture, objects and fashion accessories that recover the beauty and importance of handcrafted items, ecological awareness and the rescue of tradition. In a world of easy copying and Chinese reproduction ad infinitum, the unique piece is almost an act of resistance.
