One of the most striking examples at CASACOR São Paulo 2026 is Casa Magma Portinari, by Suite Arquitetos. With 100% signature furniture, the 215 sqm project approaches the home as a territory of healing and uses curved shapes and natural materials to reinforce the introspective atmosphere. In the bedroom, a textured fabric in earthy tones appears covering the wall behind the bed.

In turn, Felipe de Almeida also went for fabrics on the bedroom walls – but with a completely different proposal! The Casa de Memórias Essenciais combines barn-like vibes, with large windows, exposed ceiling trusses, and dark woodwork, with a contemporary touch. To match, the bedroom features a maximalist proposal marked by the floral pattern that covers the surfaces.

Fabrics on the walls are not limited to bedrooms at CASACOR São Paulo 2026. Gui & Dado Castello Branco surprised everyone by embracing the trend in the powder room of Apartamento Deca. The architects say the 265 sqm apartment could be anywhere in the world, but the wall covered with burgundy striped fabric brings a touch of boldness to the cozy neutrality of the rest of the project.

Finally, Senac São Paulo, in partnership with Estúdio Guto Requena, used fabrics on the walls for a very specific proposal. The Arena do Conhecimento is a space dedicated to lectures, workshops, and roundtable talks at the show. To ensure good acoustics in the space, the architects invested in wool panels made with recycled PET, using approximately 200 meters of sustainable fabric.
It is not always necessary to cover an entire space to experiment with the trend. An upholstered panel, an extended headboard reaching the ceiling or a single upholstered wall are already enough to reproduce the cozy effect.
When choosing, it is worth prioritizing durable fabrics that are easy to maintain and compatible with the use of the projects. Neutral tones favor timeless compositions, while natural materials help reinforce the feeling of warmth.
