Designed by Alexandre Gedeon and Hugo Schwartz, the space features cross-ventilation panels and reflective waterproofing on the slab

In the Renault Loft , designed by Alexandre Gedeon and Hugo Schwartz, from InTown Arquitetura, for CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2018 , sustainability was a priority: the duplex is itinerant, that is, it can be transported ready to assemble, which generates less waste. In addition, large panels offer cross ventilation which, together with reflective waterproofing on the slab, reduce heat absorption by up to 90%. 
Glass, steel and wooden slats give the space a light, box-shaped feel. Here, interior and exterior blend together thanks to the transparency. Even the car becomes part of the decor, appearing to be inside the living room. For the furniture, The option was to mix contemporary and classic pieces, with emphasis on open shelves, which delimit rooms without preventing integration. The lighting is provided by adjustable LED lamps. 
The kitchen is framed by the staircase that leads to the second floor. Painted blue, in a lighter shade than the wall, the steps form a kind of unexpected graphic design.
