Garden hoses, exotic woods, metals and resin make up the lounge and dining room designed by American architect Suchi Reddy at CASACOR Miami 2017. Right at the entrance to The Conversation space, a column was covered with a kinetic element that moves with the spectator, encouraging visitors to enter the room.
All the details of the decoration surprise and captivate the observer. The colorful wallpaper is the main protagonist of the composition. The strong colors evoke the tropical climate and highlight Brazilian furniture designed by great designers. The living room has exquisite pieces, such as the chaise longue Rio , by Oscar Niemeyer and the Bolotas sofa by the Campana Brothers.
To create a counterpoint to the different bright tones that paint The Conversation , the professional chose Hélène's monochromatic photography. In the kitchen, a painting inspired by comic books gives a playful tone to the project.
Highlights include the lamp made from garden hoses and the resin stools that imitate stones by Piergiorgio Robino. Other works and pieces with asymmetrical design complete the decor, such as the table by Studio Nucleo and the rug by Richard Prince.
