Agricultural engineer and landscaper Ricardo Pessuto celebrates his 11th participation in CASACOR São Paulo 2017 , with the creation of Praça Urbana , a timeless garden with an urban and civilized atmosphere. In the space, the professional presents solutions and ideas that lead the consumer to concern with design, its function, its form, experience and survival in the current scenario. In the 535 m² garden, the idea was to design a usual, cozy and fashion-free space.

With a strong Brazilian character and a universal and heterogeneous language, tropical landscaping is composed of several predominant vegetative species of the Brazilian native forest, such as bromeliads, heliconia and guaimbé. Jasmin Manga, which in addition to bringing plasticity and the idea of deconstructing an aesthetic, rigid, creates an environment with different colors, textures and volumes. The place has a fluid layout composed of two ornamental lakes, which brings people closer to nature and has low water and energy consumption. As for the floor, the landscaper used the finish Draining, in Ruggine color, by Sittamaria.

To enhance national design, Pessuto selected three sculptures for the garden. The “Nature Ballerina”, designed by artist Bia Dória, made of marble with a granite base, was chosen for its synergy with the sculptural branches of the Jasmin Manga. sculptures “Red Corrosion”, by Cássio Lázaro, made of steel in the shape of a totem and “Claridade”, by Sônia Ebling, made of bronze, represent the urban and modern side of the square.

In addition to the versatility and variety of species, materials and textures present in the garden, the environment also has a gazebo designed and developed by the professional. For the decoration of the gazebo, Pessuto opted for an improved curation of furniture such as the wooden sideboard and the panel Tropicália. Touches like this make the space welcoming and contemporary. "A garden is never finished, with mutation and rooting, each season, we witness a new stage ", says Ricardo.
