The 3 Solariums at CASACOR 2016

Anyone who knows CASACOR will always come across spaces with the same name throughout Brazil. In 2015, the collector's theme was heavily explored in the exhibition's editions, and in 2016, a new name and style of space was present in three Brazilian regions: the Solarium . Despite having the same name, the spaces in Campinas, Espírito Santo and Ceará had different concepts and different decorations, but they all expressed the idea of an external space.

At CASACOR Ceará 2016 , Eliana Braga and Vania Franck created an Arabian tent, with handcrafted pendants and Par20 torches embedded in the ground, responsible for the lighting. Persian rugs demarcate the areas, punctuated by cushions with Moroccan patterns and pieces made of African wood. The sideboards in Majorelle Blue are reminiscent of the French designer Yves Saint Laurent's season in Marrakesh. In Espírito Santo , Kassio Fontoura and Marcela Grasselli used the original large wired glass skylight as the starting point for their 192 m² space. New elements were incorporated, but the sensation of natural light entering the building was preserved. Panels with lattices ensured integration with the deck and nature, while revealing the careful selection of objects, designed for a couple who appreciate art. In Campinas , Eliana Barbosa Barros, André Zanolini, Silvia Bartholomeu, Márcia Novaes and Márcia Joly designed three spaces in one: Varanda da Família, Solarium and Jardim do Pôr-do-Sol. In the 300 m² space, the furniture created living areas, with pieces suitable for the pool area. Highlights include the Biscuit rocking chair and the waterproof fabric poufs that float in the pool. The chairs and curtains have exclusive fabric prints.
