Every year, Pantone launches a new shade to guide trends in décor, fashion and design, guided by current trends in society and new developments in the market. Over the past two years, the vibrantUltra Violet and Living Coral have sparked reflections on marine life and the different ways of expressing individuality. In 2020, however, the brand choseClassic Blue , a deep, elegant and timeless blue, to become the color of the moment. Associated with calming sensations, the shade referenced by PANTONE 19-4052 was inspired by the twilight sky.
Classic Blue, according to the brand, “translates into a soft and velvety texture”, which is associated with feelings of comfort and familiarity. The tone was not left out of CASACOR 2019, which in its exhibitions throughout Brazil and the Americas presented different ways of using deep blue in decoration. From gardens to bedrooms, the color proves to be a wild card for any application in décor. Check out the gallery!

CASACOR Santa Catarina | Florianópolis 2019. Journalist's Space - Lucas Vitorino and Chara Yene Kokowise. A few good pieces of furniture by Brazilian designers represent the nobility of simplicity in the 26 m² office. Their lines, many of them sinuous, contrast with the rational design of the bookshelf and the sunshades. The blue Coral paint and the main upholstery bring the space to life. (Wall: Ancient Writing)

CASACOR Minas Gerais 2019. Main Hall and Dining Room - Pedro Lázaro. In the living room, the marble architectural element is not exactly a gourmet kitchen, but it allows for the finishing of dishes by concentrating a cooktop, a support sink and the family's china cabinet. The lighting installation is a partnership between multi-artist Rita Lessa and A. de Arte.

CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2019. Studio Slim - Daniel Wilges. The monochromatic scheme surprises in the 50 m² studio, with walls in an exclusive velvety texture by Coral. The concise and linear design, as well as the transparency of the glass, soften the presence of the professional's characteristic materials: burnt cement, rocks and natural wood on the floor. (Ceiling and upper walls: Cultura Grega (gray); Lower walls: Valsa Azul (blue)

CASACOR Brasília 2019. PS Lounge - Studio Arch +. With references to minimalist architecture, the 120 m² space is defined by pure and straight shapes. CASACOR São Paulo 2019. Co_Dining - Juliana Pippi. The welcoming effect is enhanced by the play of textures present in the space. In the 45 m², the We Share table occupies the central position and is the guiding thread of the project. The piece, designed by the architect, has a handmade granite top and a central gutter, which combines Corian and stainless steel. The iconic Zettel'z pendant, by Ingo Maurer, stands out against the ceiling and the top of the walls dyed in Coral's shade of blue. It features drawings by guest illustrator Fábio Dudas.
