Versatile, practical and creative, laminate coverings were the choice of several professionals at the show for floors, walls and details

Laminate coverings are an excellent decorative solution. Practical and economical, they are a more sustainable alternative to their wooden counterparts. At CASACOR Espírito Santo 2018 , several professionals used them on panels, skirting boards and floors in their spaces. 
The Home Fragances space, by interior designer Fabrícia Nunes and architect Romina Passos, was inspired by old perfumeries, but with contemporary touches. The laminate flooring with worked veins and a color reminiscent of old wood helps to create the perfect sophisticated atmosphere for the fragrances. 
At Galeria Sergio Rodrigues , a space designed by the Brazilian Institute of Architects, professionals Daniela Caser and Geraldo Lin separated the three rooms with partitions and glass, creating a zig-zag effect. For the furniture, several pieces by the prestigious designer were chosen: ever-present Mole armchair, the Bianca chest of drawers, Oscar , Tonico , Diz and Kilin armchairs, Cantu chairs and the Mocho bench. The basis for all these works was a discreet yet graphic laminate flooring that resembles parquet. 
Architect Renata Tristão opted for laminated panels with alternating shelves, in a cube shape, to bring a three-dimensional touch to the Home Office with Lavatory , without sacrificing functionality. Together with the green walls and light furniture, the environment mixes the delicacy of the house with the professionalism of the office. 
The pieces made by artisans from Espírito Santo who participated in the Brasil Original project, a partnership between Sebrae Espírito Santo and Sebrae Nacional, were the priorities of the Artesanato Gallery , designed by architects Letícia Costa, Carol Ferrari and Vanessa Xavier. With 90m², the space uses lines , lights and shadows to enhance the works on display. On the floor, the covering has a concrete tone, in keeping with the modern style of the rest of the project. 
Each window in the store, designed by architect Larissa Cabral for Loja de Óculos , was made with laminated panels and features indirect lighting to enhance the glasses housed within. The light tone of the interior lining contrasts with the exterior lining, highlighting the pieces.
