Nature inspires sustainability at CASACOR Balneário Camboriú
CASACOR aims to become the leading reference in sustainability at events by 2020. There are several actions in all states to neutralize the impact of the show and bring creative solutions combined with design. The nature of Santa Catarina inspired the professionals at CASACOR Balneário Camboriú 2017 to use materials with greater resistance, practicality, durability and energy efficiency. The spaces have LED lighting, plastic that replaces wood to save on maintenance and natural pieces that were no longer in use were reused.

At Píer Seventeen , Indiara Daros and Bruno Barbieri designed a sophisticated bar, where pillars and beams were left exposed with a burnt cement texture and the ceiling was made of the property's original stamped concrete. The entire external structure, measuring 415 m², was assembled with plywood and rafters that will be reused in future CASACOR projects. In addition, the deck was made with plastic that imitates wood, generating savings in maintenance and cleaning of the space.

The [RIO] Suite , by Claudia Stach and Daniela Bordignon, pays homage to the Camboriú River. Sustainability was considered when choosing materials that faithfully reproduce the colors and textures of materials of animal origin, such as leather and imitations of natural stones, such as onyx. They opted for synthetic fabrics instead of natural ones.

In the Home Theater designed by the Ileon Arquitetura office, by professionals Alexander Storti, Jeferson Potestino, Bruno Tonietto, Ileon de Mello and Jordana Battisti, there is the use of residual wood in the cellar, made with roots found at the bottom of rivers; LED lighting that reduces energy consumption.

At Loft Hanami , Joana B. Lunelli, Juliana J. Daniel and Cláudio Saladini used a shipping container as a structure to eliminate some operations and the EPS-based construction system, which attenuates heat and sound. In addition to the large-span PVC frames, a 100% recyclable material that guarantees thermal and acoustic comfort and energy savings.

Architects Nicholas Alencar and Fernanda Rabello designed Espaço Mendes. The professionals worked to ensure that all the noble materials were applied in a way that could be completely reused and made the most of the existing structure. Since the space will be a garage in the future, they chose to maintain the existing floor, pillars and beams. CASACOR SERVICE CAMBORIÚ BEACH 2017
