CASACOR MG 2017. Baby's room - Marco Reis. The room designed by architect Marco Reis, who made his debut at CASACOR MG 2017, is inspired by the Montessori method, which means it provides its little occupant with freedom, through an environment shaped according to their way of seeing the world. The bed is low and easy to access, as are the charming chairs and tables in the corner. The design is contemporary and features geometric patterns designed by the architect himself. Baby's Room - Marco Reis. For the room, Marco Reis designed the cabinets, crib, dresser, shelves and storage space . The inspiration came from the world of children. The architect incorporated straw into some of the pieces. The dresser also works as a changing table and is perfect for those who have a water supply in the room, as it is possible to bathe the baby and change clothes in the same space. A platform was created at a different height and received a four-poster bed.

Living - Luis Fábio. The Ninaarmchair , named after his newborn daughter, was designed by the architect. He says he was having trouble finding an elegant chair that would match the rest of the décor. From there, he designed a prototype and was happy with the result. The piece features a modern design without sacrificing classic features. Details such as the use of golden brass form a frieze between the wood that gives the furniture a special touch. When choosing the upholstery, Luis opted for linen on the seat and leather on the head and arms. With excellent proportions, in addition to being beautiful, the piece is comfortable and ergonomic.

Games Space - Renata Ferreira. The professional designed theJapanese bedand the twopanels –the slatted one and the one that recreates a computer system. The choice of a bed that deviates from the traditional model was made to help optimize space. “Young people like to have things at hand and to make their daily lives easier, so the bed is extremely functional for storing objects that they use around it, eliminating the need for a nightstand. In addition, the platform helps to delimit the space, defining where is the place for rest and where is the place for fun” , comments Renata. Since the space was designed for children aged 4 to 12, the bed offers autonomy for the little ones, who can get up and down without help from adults.

Restaurant and Lounge - Bernardo Farkasvölgyi. So that they would be positioned exactly in front of the windows, the professional designed the space's tables.Since there were already several large tables spread throughout the space, the small ones were created for romantic encounters, so they only havetwo places. The idea was to make a simple and functional design, the final touch is the colorful tableware, plates and glasses.

Suite and Closet - Rosane Guedes. In this space, thebookcasecut into cubes made from MDF was designed by Rosane , who was inspired by the Danish architectBjarke Ingels. Thedividerbetween the headboard and the desk was also created by the professional who installed sockets and USB ports, all to make the room as functional as possible.

Loft - Cássio Gontijo. The professional designed thescreenthat was designed bySumisura. Itsstructure was made from aluminum angles that, after being grouped and fixed together, resemble the movement of a wave. As the ceiling height of the room is high, the screen behind the bed helped to give the space a vertical look. The color was chosen to match the tone of the floor.

Bookstore and Balcony - Camila Ferreira. Central tables : The round structure was created with the intention of removing the rigidity of the space and offering more movement and lightness. The feet were designed in raw MDF of several different diameters, which creates a staggering sensation. The neutral color chosen for the feet was designed not to clash with the original wood in the room and to match the carpet.Shelves: Because the exhibit lives in a listed building and does not support wall mounting, the bookshelf was a great solution. Painted metalon easels and shelves were created in natural freijó veneer, which are quite robust to support the weight of the books.

Santa Cruz Functional Kitchen - Gabriela Azevedo and Patrícia Pires. THEporcelain countertopis another creation by the duo. To divide the space between the side of those who will cook and those who will taste, a metal strip was used. Kitchen shelves typically have an average height of 2 m. For the space with 4 m high ceilings, the duo designed the shelves , which are hollow to give a lighter appearance within the space.

Home Theater - Danielle Bellini. Since it is a large space – approximately 100 m², the room called for an imposing sofa . With this in mind, Danielle designed the furniture with precise measurements to comfortably fit the entire family. Due to the large area of the room, the architect was having difficulty finding a carpet that would “cover” the entire floor of the Home Theater, so she found a supplier who provided leftover carpet from various regions of Brazil. The final result of the patchwork has six different colors. The light fixtures were also designed by the architect.

Backyard Kitchen - Ana Paula Rohfs. The professional was inspired by the concept of old farmhouse kitchens and the centuries-old history of the mansion to design furniture for the space. Ana sought to translate this history into reality but with a contemporary touch. Thus, she brought a reinterpretation of the wood-burning stove to the space, in a practical, super-modern version and made of high-temperature-resistant neolit. Another idea was to bring the atmosphere of an “outdoor” environment to the “indoor”, for which Ana Paula created lamps that resemble parasols. In this process, Abatjour de Arte helped in the design of the large-scale piece with soft light.

Many of the architects and interior designers in theCASACOR Minas2017 cast felt a great need when creating the concept for their spaces: to have the exact furniture they wanted for the project in the show. With that in mind, many of them decided to produce original furniture that fit perfectly into the décor of their spaces, resulting in an atmosphere full of personality and individuality.
