Pied-à-Terre - Silvana Albuquerque and Luisa Albuquerque. French for "down to earth", the 108 m² apartment embraces technology to strengthen the desire to become practical. Automated and sustainable, it has control over water and energy consumption levels. Reforested wood is the hallmark of the kitchen flooring, where pieces by national and international designers such as Ricardo Fasanello and Jorge Zalszupin appear.

KITCHEN – Essence Loft by Helaine Caloête - credit Mateus Camargo

Loft Essência - Helaine Caloête. Luxurious and natural, the 120 m² space is focused on integrating with the garden. On the largest wall, Lucerna stone, brought from Rio de Janeiro, appears, which prolongs contact with nature. Indirect lighting highlights the minimalist kitchen, which features gray so as not to take away from the wood paneling on the ceiling.

Gourmet Cinema - CLX - Miguel Gustavo. Modern and with striking lighting, the space has a huge screen that plays films and television programs. With 129 m², wood coverings predominate, alongside the deep blue that colors the gourmet kitchen.

KITCHEN - Casa Dell Anno - Cybele Barbosa + Associated Architects - credit Roberto Majola

Casa Dell Anno - Cybele Barbosa. Integration is the key word in this space, which stands out for its spacious 110 m² layout. Lacquer, wood, carpet and porcelain tiles are the predominant materials in the refuge of the idealized young couple, which has furniture suitable for entertaining, such as modular furniture that is easy to reconfigure.

Ella Garage - Thales Zago and Mara Magalhães. Focused on the natural and feminine, the project rethinks the garage as an area of interest for an independent and well-resolved woman. In 144 m², it has a living room and kitchen, where natural textures such as stones and wood veneers, in addition to landscaping, are the protagonists. Alongside it, national crafts reinforce its organic tendency.

Finitura House - Deborah Pinheiro. The starting point for the project was to enhance the original features of the Casa da Manchete, designed by Oscar Niemeyer. The exposed concrete structures and the connection between the internal and external spaces, spread across 307 m², were maintained. As a result, the house presents a mix of traditional and contemporary references, seen in the porcelain tiles on the water features and the floor, the cement covering on the floors and walls, and the acrylic covering made with fragments of ornamental stones.

Gabbro Loft - Guel Arquitetos. The gabion wall permeates the entire 90 m², bringing raw materials into a light reinterpretation within the metal structure, which functions as a divider between spaces. Few objects make up the decor, even in the kitchen, which features a gourmet countertop with clean lines to reinforce the minimalist aesthetic.

LAR - Studio Ark. Designed for an architecture lover with a taste for contemporary design and vintage pieces, the 62 m² space has modernist roots and understands living as being reduced to the essentials. A few splashes of color bring the space to life, along with the volume and textures of the gabion structure. The slate floor in the shape of a block is a highlight.

Loft On/Off - Alf Arquitetura. Relax and stay connected: this is the objective of the project, designed by André Alf and Marina Lage. At 125 m², it features natural elements that invite you to rest, such as the slatted wood panels that provide the backdrop to the kitchen. Straw, natural stone and the integrated garden also reinforce this duality, proving that reconciliation is possible.

DECA Kitchen - Walléria Teixeira. There are 100 m² in which the living room and gourmet space are next to the greenery of indoor plants. Functional, it uses modern language to create an ideal space for receiving, chatting and spending time. The wooden floor contrasts with the gray covering of the walls, which interacts with the stainless steel sinks and the linen, leather and natural stone coverings.

Living Space - Elaine Verçosa and Yeda Garcia. Based on the Eastern philosophy of Wabi Sabi, which finds beauty in the imperfect and natural, the integrated space has 104 m² in which gold appears covering large surfaces. The kitchen, on the other hand, is designed in gray, in keeping with the monochromatic trend.

The kitchen is no longer just a place for meals – it is where meetings and conversations take place, where memories are made with family and friends. Understanding the space as more than just a functional space elevates its status to a living space within the home, enabling increasingly well-crafted and beautiful decoration projects. At CASACOR Brasília 2019, integrated kitchens are the majority. With materials ranging from stone to iron and wood, their coverings revolve around a main focus: natural materials, which promote integration with nature and the appreciation of organic products. Technology is also present, with new and innovative products that make cooking even more enjoyable.
