Three major elements mark the design by mf + arquitectos for
CASACOR São Paulo 2018 : lush vegetation, the use of natural materials, especially wood, and natural ventilation. These elements result in
Tartuferia , an environment that marks the debut of Mariana and Filipe Oliveira at the São Paulo exhibition.
In this space, the duo seamlessly unites the exterior with the interior, both by revealing the details of the outside and by incorporating external elements into the restaurant. A long, narrow channel separates the walls from the ceiling, which appears to float, allowing vegetation to grow. and develop on site. The landscaping is by Bia Abreu, who designed the Jardim da Tartuferia. Natural ventilation is one of the project's greatest allies, which also values sustainability.
The project stands out for the purity of its straight lines, and the few volumes and planes that unite and integrate the spaces in the environment. Natural materials such as wood, concrete and stone are widely used.
The furniture was designed for a functional place that, in fact, welcomes people and invites them to a meal. The house's flagship product, truffles, complete the space with their aroma, which awakens the senses of those passing by.
