Audiovisual technology is usually associated with large movie theaters, but today it is possible to have an experience like this at home. The Family Home Theater , designed by architect Marina Zanatto for the first edition of CASACOR Ribeirão Preto , is an example of this. technology applied to architecture and decoration to unite and entertain people.
The main material used in the project is wood. Its cozy aesthetic creates an intimate atmosphere for the occupants and its physical characteristics favor acoustics. On the wall, some beams are exposed, creating a reinterpretation of traditional French boiserie . The lighting is a special highlight. LED strips are embedded in the ceiling and provide soft, indirect lighting. Control of the lights and audiovisual equipment is automated and can be done using a tablet.
For the furniture, the professional opted for some touches of color and pieces with a nostalgic and affectionate touch: a marsala-colored sofa, a knitted blanket and Murano vases with gold details are some examples. Sitting in them, the occupants can enjoy movies , series, games, shows or even a good conversation!
