Garage for friends and family at CASA COR PR 2015

In 75 m², architect Gisela Ribeiro designed a garage with a kitchen and barbecue area. Visitors to Casa Cor Paraná 2015 were able to see the result up close. It is an inviting and unpretentious space, where residents can gather with family and friends in great taste and comfort. “The idea of welcoming, coziness and contemporaneity guided the project. These characteristics were translated into straight lines, finishes that refer to nature and neutral tones”, says the designer of the space. She adds that the touches of color and boldness reinforce the youthful atmosphere of Garagem Renault . Part of the inspiration for the professional came from the New Fluence , “after all, I created details in the decoration to indicate that a successful young person lives there, who wants to make the most of everyday life in good company, and who likes to come home and enjoy pleasant moments in style”. The design and elegance of the coverings are an additional invitation for people to stay connected and schedule meetings to spend hours exchanging ideas and experiences. In the area reserved for cars, resistant and easy-to-clean concrete blocks cover the floor. Their rusticity is in line with the eco-deck installed in the barbecue area. Made from wood and plastic waste, the product reinforces the concern with the use of sustainable materials.

To reinforce the green solutions, the glass roof promotes energy savings as natural light floods the entire space next to the car and also integrates it into the garden, with views of the treetops. The walls are lined with laminated MDF panels. From the barbecue counter, you can see the kitchen. Next to the door, a charming vertical vegetable garden indicates that the resident values the act of preparing recipes with fresh herbs.
