Different styles come together in the Cabinet Extraordinaire , the project designed by Luiz Otávio Debeus at CASACOR São Paulo 2018. The space is rich in stories and arouses visitors' curiosity with its collectibles and decorative and design objects. 
In a clean and simple architectural box, colors bring the space to life. The professional created the decor based on references from a series of living rooms that Debeus likes. Over the course of his 20-year career, Debeus has carefully researched some striking living rooms: the “Drawing Room” in Tony Duquette’s Dawnridge residence; Baroness Marie-Hèlene de Rotschild’s iconic verdure-decorated TV room; by François Catroux; Jacques Grange's living room in Paris, as well as other spaces designed by masters such as Billy Baldwin, Henry Samuel, Paolo Moschino, Muriel Brandolini and Germano Mariutti. 
The walls covered with malachite stone wallpaper welcome the visitor and announce the aesthetic mix that is to come. Fabrics such as greenery, velvets and silks in striking colors and prints cover the furniture. 
The Cabinet Extraorinaire houses a powerful collection of works of art and design, which take center stage in the project's composition. There are oriental rugs; Portuguese columns from the second half of the 18th century and a French hat rack dating from 1900. More current pieces also interact in the space: coffee tables from the Modernist Line, by Giácomo Tomazzi, the RA 40 armchair, by Pedro Useche, the K2 sofa, by Kandissi, reissued by Alessandro Mendini himself are in perfect harmony with the textile installation by the visual artist Renato Dib, the photographs of India by Yuri Seródio, the lithographs signed by Roberto Burle Marx and the works of Claudio Tozzi, Antoni Muntada, Laure Provost and Renata Tassinari.
