Design and art ennoble the Architect's Loft at CASACOR Itapema 2018

The 100 m² space reflects the lifestyle of architect Athos, a newcomer to the show, his preferences and hobbies. The living room, home theater, closet, bathroom and bedroom are home to art, design objects and nature in its most vivid form. and pieces found around the world.

Gray and black are the predominant tones in this sober space, warmed by the use of wood and the green of the plants positioned in several special corners. The vertical garden of tropical species invades one of the walls of the living room, creating a surprising effect in the intimate spaces.

Wood, glass, aluminum and concrete make up the project with nuances of textures and colors. Next to the staircase, made entirely of tempered and laminated glass, there is a mini gallery with carefully selected works of art. Photographs by Cassiano Cruz and pieces by artist Fernanda Naman give vigor to the space. In the kitchen, the counter accommodates a champagne cooler. To receive guests, the Mia table and six chairs, an award-winning creation by designer Jader Almeida.

In the Living Room, Kilin 1973 armchairs by Sergio Rodrigues, chairs, tables and lamps by Jader Almeida and HRQ table by Richard Gorh give a sophisticated-urban touch to the space, which also features two works from the Naïve series by acclaimed photographer Gabriel Wickbold. . The images, with considerable proportions, are positioned in the center of the wall taken over by native species – which creates an installation effect to the whole.

A mezzanine houses the bedroom and provides more space for the project. The bedroom also has a closet and bathroom, with the comfort of the Bed Diamond bed, by Richard Gorh, and the Yori armchair, by Ronald Sasson, in the reading corner. The entire The decor is completed with contemporary creations by Athos Peruzzolo, including the bedside tables, the magazine rack and the wooden panel behind the bed – inspired by the architect's childhood drawings.
