Brasilia design stands out at CASACOR Brasília 2016

CASACOR Brasília 2016 is full of national pieces, but what stands out is the inclusion of objects produced by professionals from Brasília who are responsible for the spaces in the exhibition. In the Loja space, designed by architects Raul Azevedo and Álvaro França, the public will be presented with original articles from the Cápsula Brasil Design Criativo Project. Among the highlights is the “Alvorada” bench made of carbon steel and jequitibá wood. Produced by Studio Aciole Felix, the piece inspired by the official residence of the president of the republic reproduces the architecture present on the façade of the Alvorada Palace. In partnership with the Brasilia-based brand Win Light, designer Marcelo Mourão created the Win Column – Cerrado Collection line of lighting fixtures, inspired by the Brazilian Cerrado. The pieces were officially launched at the show. Other items also make up the collection at the store , such as the Planalto chair by Baru Design; the wooden and fabric lamps produced by Studio Decor UP; and the wooden furniture line by Colina Design, which was inspired by the features of Brasília. In addition to the products found in the space by the duo Raul Azevedo and Álvaro França, another highlight of the exhibition is the creative production of the architects themselves for the composition of the space. Architect Yeda Garcia joins the production wave with a lamp designed especially for the Living room for a Gourmet . The duo formed by architects Hélio Albuquerque and Sonia Peres follows the same path and brings an original bookcase to the Lounge space at Encontro .

Studio Hub also designs a line of furniture displayed exclusively in the show’s Restaurant . In the Living Space , Mayara Kassiê displays a swing, with a design produced by her.
