Leo Romano already has a membership card at
CASACOR Goiás : the architect is the only one to have participated in all editions of the show, since the first edition in 1997. Even so, he returns in 2019 with the proposal of renewing himself in a creative and artistic environment.
Casa da Girafa/Cinex features black as the predominant color. Various shades of gray make up the furniture, designed by Oscar Niemeyer, Oswaldo Tenório and Jorge Zalszupin, giving it a sober and mature look. The choice of neutral ensures that Leo's bolder decorative pieces can stand out.
Gray also features heavily in the extravagant suite, which uses printed patterns to add another layer of complexity to the home. Transparency is a striking feature of the space, appearing in glass doors and in the modular closet.
At the other end of the room is the kitchen, which completes the integrated spaces of the house in an industrial style. All the pieces were selected with the aim of reinforcing the transformative aspect of art, betting on aesthetics as the path to happiness and on the dreamlike character to represent a better reality.
