Curtains are trending and will be present at CASA COR Brasília 2015

Fabric curtains are a feature at CASA COR Brasília 2015. They are decorative and functional, and bring light and classic fabrics to living rooms, bedrooms and even offices. In the Boy's Room designed by Letícia Hammerschmidt, a gray curtain is part of a modern proposal, with an industrial style that is reminiscent of London and New York lofts. According to the professional, fabric curtains bring warmth and, therefore, make the rooms more cozy and comfortable. Letícia also highlights that the curtain and blind combination is also on the rise and can make the room, in addition to being functional, even more elegant. "When we combine these two solutions, we should use the curtains as shawls, in the corners of the windows and with the blind in the middle." In offices, the piece is also an option, alone or in conjunction with blinds. In the Journalist's Studio , designed by Bárbara Paiva, curtains were used in both ways. In the living room, it comes alone, combining with other decorative choices, such as cobogó. In linen and lighter tones, the element brings sophistication and lightness to the environment. In the office, integrated into the same space, the curtain is accompanied by blinds. According to the architect, the way the curtain was used was the way found to “reduce the incidence of light in the space, without losing the charm and elegance of such a prominent decorative element”.
