Conceptual, Oliva Gourmet symbolizes food and life at CASACOR RS

(Cristiano Bauce)

The professionals at Lineastudio Arquiteturas thought of a project full of meaning and symbolism for CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul in 2019, which establishes a series of formal and material relationships with the planet. The natural tree in the center is what gives its name to Oliva Gourmet Deca , which develops a temporal narrative about food, its relationships with people and the transformations in eating in 38 m².

The climax of the concept revolves around the dining area, where the design of the table and rug harmonize with the Dinna chairs by Jader Almeida . The orthogonal walls make the room a semicircle in which the purpose is centered on the celebration of the supper ritual. The warm colors are a simulacrum of life, expressed, above all, in the prominent olive tree. The environment also receives generous lighting, from a large circle of backlit screen measuring almost 4 m in diameter.

The harmonious coexistence between man and nature addresses the environment, but encourages reflection on the fragility of the planet in the face of human action.

The entrance portico of the space has a rustic finish, made of black natural stone, which refers to the raw state of primitive life. Handcrafted baskets with grains, fruits and vegetables give an artisanal style to the decoration, and come from indigenous communities in the interior of Santa Maria, in the interior of the state.
